English: Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading The old main entrance on London Road. A more modern, recently revamped hospital lies behind is now usually accessed from Craven Road. This building dates from 1839. It is by local architect and builder Henry Briant. He seems to have been responsible for much of the Bath stone architecture locally. The coat of arms is that of King William IV.
