    Summary

    Description
English: Saltasaurus is a derived titanosaur known for being the first sauropod discovered with a covering of osteoderms along its back. These would go on to be a common feature in many future titanosaur discoveries. Saltasaurus had a relatively short neck, and was small by sauropod standards, at about 12 m in total body length, and weighing around 7 t.
