Description
Nederlands: Satire op de berechting van Johan van Oldenbarnevelt. De landsadvocaat zit op een bankje omringd door zijn rechters in de gedaante van verschillende soorten dieren: Nicolaes Kromhout (olifant), Reynier Pauw (pauw), Henrick van Essen en Nicolaes de Voogt (leeuwen), Hugo Muys van Holy (tijger), Gerard Beuckels. van Santen (krokodil), Pieter Jansz. Schagen (vioolspelende ezel met doedelzak en een muziekboek), Aelbrecht Bruyning (hond), Adriaen Ploos (aap met een weerhaan of palmpaashaantje) en Volkert Sloot (bok). Verder ook een wolf, luipaard, beer, vossen, haan, slang, geit, kalf en rechts enkele monsters. Op de achtergrond rechts de poorten van hel. Aan de muur een grote wandkaart en een papier met de tekst Trucidata Innocenta.
