English: Schematic description of photopolymerization-based signal amplification. First, antigens bind with immobilized antibody on the surface. Second, capture antibodies are added and they specifically bind with antigens bound to immobilized antibodies. Third, green light is irradiated. Finally, photopolymerization takes place and phenolphthalein is trapped in the hydrogel formed by polymerization. |
