Summary

Description

Two scuttled German destroyers in Rombaksfjord, near Narvik, Norway, in April 1940. Three ships were scuttled here: Z 9 Wolfgang Zenker, Z 11 Bernd von Arnim, and Z 18 Hans Lüdemann.

Note: The original description contains several mistakes: the place is spelled "Lombarken Fjord" (which does not exist), and the destroyers are identified as Z 8 Bruno Heinemann (sunk 25 January 1942 by a mine near Calais) and Z 6 Theodor Riedel (misspelled as "Reidel" - transferred to France as the Kleber, scrapped 1958).
