| Description | A Royal Navy Westland Sea King HAS.6 helicopter from 820 Naval Air Squadron assigned to the the aircraft carrier HMS Illustrious (R06) prepares to land on board the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN-65) with a medical emergency, off the south eastern coast of Virginia (USA) on 28 April 1996. Both ships were participating in the "Combined Joint Task Force Exercise" (CJTFX) '96, as part of a multinational force of over 50,000 soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines from Canada, Britain and the United States. |
