Seal #1493. William de Longchamps. A. D. 1189-1197. Lord High Chancellor. Pointed oval : the Bishop, full-length, on a corbel or cushion, lifting up the right hand in benediction, in th left hand a pastoral staff.

WILIELMUS DEI GRACIA ELIENSIS .....

R. A smaller pointed oval counterseal. A crescent enclosing an estoile of eight points wavy. There are some small and uncertain letters in the field near the crescent.
