Summary

Description

Union Trust Building (left, 119 South Main Street, built 1893) and Union Trust Annex (right, 117 South Main Street, built 1902), Pioneer Square neighborhood, Seattle, Washington, USA.

The west face of the Union Trust Building (at left) is along Occidental Mall, and its ground floor has housed numerous art galleries in the last few decades. For many years, the Union Trust Annex was home to the Seattle Unit of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park.

In the 1960s, this pair of buildings were among the first in the Pioneer Square area (or, as it was better known then, Skid Road) to be rehabilitated; architect Ralph Anderson did the rehabilitation.
