After protesters broke through the inner walls of the Katiba, they came upon one the regime's underground prisons, marked above ground only by reinforced metal doors and two small, circular guard rooms.
The opposition forces brought in construction equipment to dig several meters underground and break into the prison rooms, freeing several men who had been held there.
