DescriptionShipwreck remains at Menachurch Point - geograph.org.uk - 404689.jpg
English: Shipwreck remains at Menachurch Point Walking down the beach in the mist we suddenly came across these rusting iron remains of a ship. As we walked on we saw the prop shaft, then the boiler, laid out along the sand. Remains of the Portuguese steamship "Belem" (formerly the German SS Rhodos) 1,925 ton, stranded in thick fog at Northcott Mouth, Bude, on 20th November 1917
