English: Signal box at Carmont Station. Although there is a frequent service along this, the main line to Aberdeen, it must be many a long year since trains stopped at this "station". There is no sizeable settlement nearby, so passenger numbers must always have been small, and like so many small stations on main lines, they have been closed to enable faster progress for express trains.
