English: Mowbray Police Training Camp, Singapore. This was the site of the Buona Vista 15" gun battery built during the late 1930s as part of the Singapore Defenses. The number one 15" gun is believed to have been located at the top of the hill. It did not see action during the Japanese invasion of Singapore due to the limitations of the its field of fire. |
