Summary
| Description |
On Lake Tana, Ethiopia. This is a departure from my usual photographic style, but the hours it takes to transit Lake Tana distill the experience into its component elements of sky, clouds, water and land. I wanted to capture that. To someone who's used to the clear waters, tides and distinctive landmarks of the Pacific Northwest Coast of America, Lake Tana's opaque brown waters take on many of the trackless qualities of a desert. |
