English: Soames Brewery Chimney detail. The former Soames Brewery chimney stands alongside Tuttle Street/Stryt Twtil. The large square section of brickwork at the top of the tall base facilitates the change to the octagonal shape of the chimney. It was purchased in 1990 by the then MP Dr John Marek to save it from demolition. It is now Grade II listed. See also 1472153
