Description

A black and white photograph of the Spitzer Building on Madison Avenue in downtown Toledo, Ohio. Built between 1893 and 1896, the commercial building's arcade is thought to be the area's first enclosed mall. The building closed and vacated in 2013. The photo was taken 1890. The photo is a glass plate negative.
