As I have said before, Stagecoach buses are rather underrepresented in my photostream as I don't visit areas where their buses operate especially often. ADL Enviro200MMC 26219 is seen leaving St. Margaret's Bus Station in Leicester with a service 148 to Coventry. This bus still carries branding for the former service 48 (not to be confused with Arriva's service 48 between Leicester and Wigston), which ran from Coventry to Nuneaton before alternately continuing to either Atherstone or Leicester via Hinckley. At some point the 48 was split into three services at Nuneaton: the 48A (Nuneaton to Atherstone), 48C (Nuneaton to Coventry) and the 48L (Nuneaton to Leicester). More recently, the Leicester and Coventry sections were reunified and renumbered the 148 to coordinate with Arriva's service 158 which also runs between Leicester and Nuneaton. However, a number of buses, including this one, still carry branding for the original service 48. |
