The current statue, now installed in the Clémence Isaure room of the Hôtel d'Assézat, was created in the 16th century from medieval sculptures: the bust and head come from a funerary statue in the church of la Daurade, and the body from a recumbent belonging to a certain Bertrande, of the Isalguier family.
