English: Picture of Sterling Bank building in Downtown Walla Walla. This building was built by the Paine Brothers from mid 1878 to early 1879 and was one of the most substantial buildings in Washington Territory when completed. It is one of the earliest major works of architect Albert Wickersham, who later worked in post-fire Seattle.
