English: You take a stratified random sample by first dividing the population into homogeneous (similar within themselves) groups (strata) which are distinct from each other ie. Group 1 is different than Groups 2. Then choose a separate SRS (Simple Random Sample) from each stratum and combine these SRSs to form the full sample. Stratified Random Sampling is used to yield unbiased samples.
