English: Formal portrait of Susan Ann Bennett taken from an illustration found after page 82 of the 1928 biography by Mrs. R.W. MacDonell of suffragist and Southern Methodist missionary leader Belle Harris Bennett. Sue Bennett was Belle's older sister who served on the Central Committee of the Woman's Parsonage and Home Mission Society, a department of the Southern Methodist Board of Church Extension. She lobbied for Methodist schools and churches to be established in the southeastern mountains of Kentucky. Her dream was finally realized after her death due to the work of her younger sister, Belle, in getting a school built in London, Kentucky.
