Description The Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) is the security lead for the United States at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. DSS personnel are serving in liaison, advisory, and security support roles to protect U.S. government officials, the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team, U.S. corporate stakeholders, and other U.S. citizens attending the World Cup competition July 20-August 20, 2023.
