Summary

Description
English: Watercolor painting by Feliks Sypniewski "Sypniewskis at Palace in Homel", a.k.a. "Ancestors" (also mistakenly called "Nobleman and Wife" or "Nobleman and Daughter") showing painter's grandparents: Jan Odrowąż-Sypniewski and Stefania Jaraczewski from Jaraczewo, inside their palace in Homel (currently Belarus). Stolen by Germans during World War I, it was considered lost until it re-surfaced at one of the German auction houses in 1972.

Polski: Akwarela Feliksa Sypniewskiego "Sypniewscy w homelskim pałacu", zwana także "Przodkowie" (błędnie zwana też "Nobleman and Wife" (Szlachcic z żoną) lub "Nobleman and Daughter"(Szlachcic z córką), przedstawia dziadka i babcię malarza: Jana Odrowąż-Sypniewskiego i Stefanię p.v.
