Summary

Description

English: This house is part of an architectural complex built in the last quarter of the 17th century, typical of the Louisquatorzian style (framing of stone openings). Formed of thirty-three bays with rigorous horizontality, the complex was founded by the civil hospices The house, on a slit basement, rises on two levels. The ground floor is pierced by a low door with a straight keyed lintel surmounted by a transom bay highlighted by a drip line. Similar to those on the first floor, the bays have small wood frames (one of which is walled) and are separated by single (ground floor) and double (first floor) trumeaux. The latter, extended at the level of the sills, are connected by a brick net. The gabled roof, supported by wooden profiled modillions, is made of flat tiles and pierced by a hipped skylight
