Other information
  • The parent website is Kokomo.ca and there are no restrictions posted anywhere on it regarding images. The file Mutual Como ad which has been on WP since 2006 originated from here. Ray Charles Singer & Perry Como and Como in tuxedo, along with most to all of the Perry Como albums have come from the same site.
  • Most to all of those in the photo are deceased-Perry Como, Ted Weems and Marilyn Maxwell definitely are.
  • This version of the Ted Weems Orchestra no longer existed after Marilyn "Marvel" Maxwell left the band for an acting career and Perry Como's late 1942 parting. Weems dissolved what was left of this version of the band in December 1942, when all who remained joined the Merchant Marine.
  • The people shown in the photo were cast members of Beat the Band from 1940 to 1941, when the Weems group was part of that radio show.
