English: Thatched Cottage The thatch has been replaced long ago with asbestos cement sheeting but this has not prevented it from gaining Listed grade II status. In fact this is an early 18th century timber framed building. What appears to be the original street door has been bricked up and replaced with a new one up the lane to the right.
