DescriptionThe Compasses Littley Green - geograph.org.uk - 48497.jpg
English: The Compasses Littley Green. The Compasses, Littley Green is a brick built Ale House much of it with the appearance of being built in the 19th century. It is the Brewery Tap, the closest retail outlet to Ridleys Hartford End Brewery TL6817. This pub has never seen a hand pump, all real beers are gravity fed direct from cask to glass in the cellar. Even the noxious keg and ersatz lager fonts are not allowed to clutter the bar they too are served in the cellar. Because of Greene Kings buy out of Ridleys only G.K beers brewed in the computer controlled conical fermentors of the beer factory in Bury St Edmunds were available.
