English: The Priory, Holywood
The Priory stands at the Bangor end of High Street surrounded by modern development. It was built as a parish church in about 1200. It later became a Franciscan friary, reverting to the status of a parish church after restoration in 1615. It became disused in the middle of the 19th century when replaced by a new parish church.
