DescriptionThe former slate storage area of Graig Ddu Quarry - geograph.org.uk - 561688.jpg
English: The former slate storage area of Graig Ddu Quarry Finished slate produced at Graig Ddu were stored on this 'clwt peilio' prior to being sent down the incline to the main line railway station. Although Graig Ddu Quarry has been re-worked by McAlpines for the past couple of decades, the incline system and the processing area besides it have long been redundant. The slate tips in the background belong to the disused Dyffryn Casson Quarry.
