Deutsch: Dieses Bild zeigt eine nur 4 mm kleine, lebende, weibliche Zecke der Art Ixodes hexagonus von oben, welche die Aufnahmen schadlos überstanden hat. Besten Dank an meinen Arbeitskollegen Andreas Böttger für das Finden und zur Verfügung stellen des Tieres.
English: This image shows an only 0.16 inch (4 mm) small, living tick of the species Ixodes hexagonus from the top.
Français : Une Tique (Ixodes hexagonus) vivante vue de haut. Taille réelle 4mm.
