English: Inyo tonestus (Tonestus peirsonii) perennial clump flowering in a rock crevice. This is a local plant endemic to the mountains of Inyo and Fresno counties of California, in this case near its original type location, at 10,400 ft (3,200 m) tucked into the cliffs above Long Lake, Little Lakes Valley, John Muir Wilderness, Sierra Nevada USA.
