English: Train at Mount station - 1978 (2) A UTA built MPD set passes Mount up station platform with the 12.05 passenger service from Larne Harbour to Belfast (York Road). It is not certain when Mount, which only served the Courtauld's factory, closed to regular passenger traffic. Certainly, there is now no sign of the station, while the former factory site has been redeveloped as small business units. The watch-tower of the Carrickfergus Ulster Defence Regiment (UDR) base can just be seen at left background.
