English: Inside the Mission San Xavier del Bac which was rebuilt 1783-1797 and is located at 1950 West San Xavier Rd. Tucson, Az. Every wall is covered with paintings. The church was first built when Arizona belonged to Spain. Later Arizona became part of Mexico and finally a state of the United States of America. It is the oldest European structure in Arizona. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1966, ref.: #66000191.
