Japanese WW2 era Amphibious Tank

Built:- 1942 to 1943
Total Production:- 184
Main Armament:- 37mm Type 1 gun
The Ka-Mi was Japans most successful amphibious tank, although being hand-built instead of mass-produced made construction expensive and slow. They first saw action on Guadalcanal and remained in use until the end of the war.
One of only three survivors, this example was recovered in 1945 from Shumshu in the Kuril Islands. It is complete with both its front and rear pontoons and is on display in Hall 12 of the Patriot Museum Complex.
