Summary

Description
English: The Gothic arches in the facade of the Melkite Greek Catholic Cathedral of Saint Thomas in Tyre/Sour, Southern Lebanon, constructed around 1752 upon the ruins of a church from the crusader period. To the right a chapel dedicated to the Tyrian brothers Frumentius - the first bishop of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, who has been credited with bringing Christianity to the Kingdom of Aksuma in the 4th century - and his brother Edesius, who returned to Tyre and became a priest.
