Norwegian-Swedish Agreement being signed in London. The NorwegianForeign Minister –Mr. Trygve Lie, and the Swedish Minister accredited to the Norwegian Government-Baron Johan Beck-Friis, yesterday signed an agreement between the Norwegian and Swedish governments concerning the payments in connection with Swedish deliveries for reconstruction purposes in Norway after the war. The deliveries will include foodstuffs, seeds, iron and steel produce, as well as medicines. In addition a Protocol concerning the initiation of discussions regarding the future economic relations between the two countries was also signed. Norsk bokmål: Kopiert fra Riksarkivets Flickr-album «4: Utenriksminister Trygve Lie besøker Sverige», fotografier valgt ut fra «NTBs krigsarkiv - bilder av nordmenn i Sverige under 2. verdenskrig»: I oktober–november 1944 besøkte utenriksminister Trygve Lie Sverige etter invitasjon fra den svenske utenriksministeren Chr. Günther. Formålet med reisen var blant annet å drøfte økonomiske og finansielle problemer. Utgiftene til det norske flyktningesamfunnet i Sverige førte til en betydelig tapping av den norske valutabeholdningen. Besøket resulterte i en kredittavtale og en protokoll om de økonomiske forbindelser mellom Norge og Sverige. Under sitt besøk holdt utenriksminister Lie en lunsj for spesielt inviterte på Grand Hotel i Stockholm. Medlemmer av den svenske regjering, Norges og allierte nasjoners sendemenn i Sverige, fremstående norske og svenske militære sjefer var til stede.
