Čeština: Znak obce Veliš, okres Jičín. Modro-černě stříbrným, nahoru lomeným břevnem dělený štít. Nahoře stříbrná zeď s cimbuřím a černou branou se zdviženou mříží mezi dvěma stříbrnými kvádrovanými věžemi s cimbuřím, každá se třemi černými střílnami nad sebou, s červenou stanovou střechou zakončenou zlatou makovicí. Dole pod zlatou pohanskou korunou zkřížené meče, vše zlaté.
