Description
English: Inscription from a fragmented stone vessel bearing the cartouches of the Hyksos pharaoh Apophis of the 15th Dynasty, and of his daughter, princess Herit. The fragment was found by Howard Carter in 1916, in the purported tomb of pharaoh Amenhotep I at Dra Abu el-Naga (tomb ANB). The original fragment is now in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York (acc. no. 21.7.7).
