Description
English: Statue of Abraham Lincoln at 44th Ave N and Xerxes Ave N (off of Victory Memorial Parkway) in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. Erected in 1929. Gift of the Minneapolis units of the Grand Army of the Republic. The book "Lincoln in Marble and Bronze" states that head is by Bachman and the body by Saint-Gaudens. An attached survey form from the Minneapolis Arts Commission states that the figure is a copy after Saint-Gaudens.
