English: This prototype included breadboard simulations of the UM1 and UM2 chips and was enclosed in a steel case so it could be carried to venues where VideoBrain's capabilities could be demonstrated before the chips themselves were available. This protoyped was used in 1977 at the Hannover Messe and the June Consumer Electronics Show. The keyboard and joysticks were in a separate box. The power supply was in a separate steel case. Sofware was pre-loaded into ROMS on the prototype circuit board.
