Description

Cropped version of image described below. Showing Annapurna I with Herzog's "Sickle" shown dead centre. Tilicho peak to the right with its shoulder cutting off the view of the lower parts of Annapurna. Photograph taken from about 65 km (40 miles) north.

On the way down to Ghar Gompa, right after Marang La, incredible view on the Annapurna range. The highest peak is Annapurna I (8 091 m), then to its right Tilicho (7 134 m) and Nilgiri North (7 061 m).
