Description

Views on the South Coast of Australia, an 1802 watercolour by William Westall. It depicts several coastal features on the south coast of Western Australia.

This sketch was based upon Westall's November 1801 pencil field sketch South Coast: Cape Leeuwin, Cape Chatham and Eclipse Isles. In 1814 it would later be published as the engraving Views on the South Coast of Terra Australis.
