Eesti: Viljandi linnast vahetult kagu pool olev kirde-edela suunas piklik orujärv. Asetseb Sakala kõrgustiku keskosa läbivas ürgorus, meretasemest 41,9 m kõrgemal. Ta pikkus on 4,6 km, laius 0,45 km, pindala 155 ha, suurim sügavus 11,0 m (keskmine sügavus 5,6 m). Kõige sügavam koht on järve kitsast osast (nn. Järvekaelast) edela pool. Järve kirdeosa nimetatakse Viiratsi otsaks, edelaosa Orika otsaks. Teine sügav koht on Viiratsi otsas Mädalepiku kohal. |
