Polski: Mural ukazujący Papieża Jana Pawła II na jednym z budynków przy Bulwarach im. marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego we Włocławku, namalowany w 2017 roku. Papież ogląda Włocławek przez okno "domu ojca" (tj. nieba, nawiązanie do jednych z ostatnich słów papieża). Miasto można rozpoznawać m.in. po namalowanym moście im. Edwarda Śmigłego-Rydza i Katedrze Wniebowzięcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny. Nad głową papieża widnieje aureola - atrybut świętości. Jan Paweł II jest honorowym obywatelem miasta Włocławka oraz województwa kujawsko-pomorskiego - tę drugą informację zapisano na muralu.
English: Mural of Pope John Paul II on one of the builgins at marshal Józef Piłsudski boulevards in Włocławek, painted in 2017 year. Pope is watching Włocławek by the window of "fathers house" (means: heaven, this is reference to one of the last words of pope). There are Edward Śmigły-Rydz bridge and Cathedral in Włocławek on the picture. There is a aureole belove the popes had - symbol of saint. John Paul II is a honorary inhabitant of Włocławek and kuyavian-pomeranian voivodeship. This second title is written on the mural. |
