DescriptionWar Memorial at Chester Cathedral - geograph.org.uk - 558834.jpg
English: War Memorial at Chester Cathedral. This war memorial, in the precincts of Chester Cathedral, was erected after 'The Great War'. A third tier stone on the face to the left of the camera was subsequently carved with the dates 1939-1945. The cathedral and bell tower are seen behind the memorial, although in 1975 the bells were moved to a new detached bell tower. The south door is just to the left of the memorial - see 556764.
