Description
English: Interior of the Warsaw Philharmonic: concert organ made in Walcker's Factory (Walcker Orgelbau) in Ludwigsburg (42 voices) embellished with busts of prominent musicians; arcade above the organ adorned with oil panneaux paintings by Henryk Siemiradzki - Musica sacra and Musica profana; plafond by Antoni Jan Strzałecki depicting The Life of the Muses on Olympus. Burned down in September 1939 as a result of severe aerial bombardment by the Germans.[1]
