English: Water kefir crystals (also known as Tibicos). They feel like rubber, but can be squashed. After some time without nourishment they become opaque (white), but after adding some sugar they become slightly translucent again, as seen on this image.
Deutsch: Wasserkefirkristalle. Sie fühlen sich gummig an, können aber zerdrückt werden. Nach längerer Zeit ohne Nahrung (Zucker) verfärben sie sich von durchsichtig nach weiss, werden aber nach Nahrungszufuhr wieder leicht durchsichtig wie auf dem Bild. |
