This diagram image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.

It is recommended to name the SVG file “Websites interlinking to illustrate PageRank percents.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.

Summary

Description
English: Diagram to illustrate concept of PageRank (continued). Google uses complex mathematical algorithms to guess which websites a user seeks. Since website B is the recipient of numerous inbound links, it ranks more highly in a web search. And the links "carry through", such that website C, even though it only has one inbound link, has an inbound link from a highly popular site, website B. Note: percentages are rounded.
