English: Josiah Wedgwood: A platter from the Green Frog Service, 1773/1774.
Русский: Тарелка из Сервиза с зелёной лягушкой, Веджвуд, собрание Государственного Эрмитажа. Сервиз, заказанный Екатериной II в 1770 г., был исполнен в "фаянсе цвета сливок", характерном для изделий английского керамиста Джозайи Веджвуда, и предназначен для Чесменского дворца. Поскольку дворец был расположен в местности, название которого переводится с финского языка как "Лягушачье болото", на каждом из 952 предметов сервиза изображена зеленая лягушка. Историческая ценность 1244 архитектурно-пейзажных видов старой Англии, в сочетании с разнообразием форм, простых и спокойных, безупречностью техники исполнения, изысканностью красочной гаммы, выделяют сервиз в первоклассной коллекции английской керамики в Эрмитаже.

The exclusive rights to this work do not extend on territory of the Russian Federation according to article 1256 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation (details), because this work does not meet the requirements on the territory of publication, on the author's nationality, and on obligations for international treaties.
