English: A drawing of Weymouthia nobilis, a trilobite of the Agnostida order, Weymouthiidae family, found in the Lower Cambrian of Massachusetts, (Hoppin Slate, North Attleboro). Lateral tubercles not identified.
Cephalon and pygidium in the photograph , as printed in the Treatise on Invertebrate Paleontology, Part O, Arthropoda 1, Revised, Trilobita, vol. 1 (1997), are at an angle to eachother. The distance between these parts is a best guess by the artist, but not necessarily correct to life. The remains of the three segment are rather eroded, so there representation may not be accurate either.
