DescriptionWheldrake railway station (site), Yorkshire (geograph 6134875).jpg
English: Wheldrake railway station (site), Yorkshire Opened in 1913 by the Derwent Valley Light Railway on the line from York (Layerthorpe) to Cliffe Common, this station closed to passengers in 1926 and completely in 1968.
View south towards Cottingwith and Cliffe Common. The line crossed the road by a level crossing where the driveway on the far right now is. The platform and main station building were approximately where the house on the left now stands. The gateway on the left gave access to the goods yard. The station building was carefully dismantled and can now be seen at Murton Park.
